This week a realistic cure for cancer was presented by Thomas Graeber of UCLA (Molecular Systems Biology, June 26, 2012). His team showed that depriving cancer cells of the sugar, glucose, kills them by causing the cancer cells to accumulate Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS). Completely depriving your cells of sugar is practicaly starvation, but realize anything that raises blood sugar levels INCREASES YOUR RISK FOR CANCER: being overweight, not exercising, being diabetic, eating sugar or refined carbohydrates when you are not exercising, lack of vitamin D, not having enough muscle, eating read meat (feedlot corn fed high in omega 6), storing fat in your belly, not eating enough fruits and vegetables, and so forth.
